What's your sweetest moment?

I get a lot of emails complimenting my children. It's nice to hear but I have always believed that their health is much more important than their looks. And I know for a fact that there are thousands of really cute babies born each day. My children are just a part of a very large group of adorable children.

So that is why this baby and toddler - ok, this child photo contest is very different from all the baby contests out there. Savvy Mommy officially announces the Savvy Mommy "Sweetest Moment" contest. It's time to go through your favorite digital pictures of your very own cute baby and enter this contest.

What is the sweetest moment you have captured with your camera of your children? Is it of your newborn daughter sleeping next to a tiny plush toy or of your son blowing out candles from his second birthday party? Maybe it's of your son in his first Halloween costume or taking him to his first day of school or summer camp.

While there are four age categories, there isn't a theme the photos need to meet to be considered. Prizes will be given to both the mom and child winning each category.

And since I'm asking for yours, I'll share one of my sweetest moments with my son. It was taken when he was a little over two weeks old and we went to visit a family member out of town. (Yes, I know my nursing bra is showing a la Angelina Jolie but I choose to ignore that fact because this is one of my sweetest moment photos with Luke. lol

And now that I have thoroughly embarrassed myself, here are the prizes you could win if you enter the Sweetest Moments contest -

Child prizes in all five categories is a tee shirt from Crib Rock Couture or Inky Dink tees in the child's current size. ($28-36 value)

* GRAND PRIZE * One photo will also be chosen as the overall sweetest moment. That mom will received a camcorder from Pure Digital.

Rules

In order to enter the contest, there are a few rules you must follow:

1. You may enter as many photos as you like as a .jpg attachment provided none of the photos were taken by a professional photographer.
2. Only one child may be seen in each photo submitted since only one child will be chosen for each age category.
3. You must submit photos of the child completely clothed. (It goes without saying that it's hilarious to see children in the bathtub sporting shampoo hairdos but unfortunately times have changed and there are not so sane people on the internet so I will not consider photos of children who are not completely clothed.)

Deadline: September 1, 2006. Winners will be notified on September 15, 2006 by email or phone. Contest only open to U.S. Residents - 18 years old and older. Winner allows winning photo to be published on SavvyMommy.com
